Match the Charger to the Battery
- Battery chemistry: Use a charging profile specifically approved for the AGM or lithium battery being charged.
- System voltage: Match the charger to the battery's required voltage range; chargers for 12V, 14V and 16V applications are not interchangeable unless the manufacturer explicitly states otherwise.
- Charge rate: Check charger output and the battery manufacturer's recommended charging current.
