Planning an 18-Inch Subwoofer Enclosure
Match the box to the exact subwoofer model using its required airspace, cutout and mounting-depth specifications. Large 18-inch systems also require careful planning for enclosure loading clearance, amplifier power, wiring, fusing, alternator output and battery capacity.
Nominal cone size alone does not guarantee that an 18-inch driver fits or performs correctly in a particular enclosure.
