CAS Subwoofers
Category Guide & Buying Information Fitment, power & selection tips
Choose CAS Subwoofers for Your Car Audio Build
Compare CAS automotive subwoofers by available size, RMS power handling and voice-coil configuration. Start with the space in your vehicle and the output you want, then review the exact model’s specifications before choosing an amplifier or enclosure.
Power, Impedance and Amplifier Matching
Use RMS ratings when comparing continuous power needs. Dual voice coils provide wiring choices, but the final impedance depends on coil impedance, wiring and the number of subwoofers. Match that final load to an amplifier’s supported impedance and RMS output; do not assume a lower load is suitable for every amplifier.
Enclosure and Electrical Planning
Check the selected model’s recommended enclosure type and net volume. Allow for subwoofer and port displacement when planning a ported box, and confirm mounting depth and cutout dimensions. Sealed and ported designs have different space and tuning requirements. Large systems also need enough alternator output, battery reserve and properly sized power and ground wiring.
Browse 6.5-inch, 8-inch, 10-inch, 12-inch, 15-inch and 18-inch CAS subwoofers. Size alone does not determine power handling or the right enclosure: compare the specific models that fit your installation.
