CCA

Category Guide & Buying Information Fitment, power & selection tips

Shop copper-clad aluminum (CCA) car audio wire in multiple gauges and lengths. Compare conductor construction, cable size, jacket and the specifications for each product before selecting wire for an audio or electrical circuit.

Choosing CCA Wire for Car Audio

  • Size by the actual circuit: Use expected current, run length and the cable manufacturer’s specifications when choosing a gauge.
  • Know the conductor: CCA uses an aluminum conductor with a copper cladding and should not be assumed to have the same electrical performance as an OFC cable based only on the printed gauge.
  • Protect power wiring: Use secure terminations and properly sized circuit protection for the installed cable and equipment.

Review the exact product listing for conductor material, length and construction before ordering.
