Alternator Block
Category Guide & Buying Information Fitment, power & selection tips
Shop machined alternator lug blocks for connecting multiple charging cables at compatible alternator output studs. Compare alternator-stud fitment, supported wire sizes, number of cable connections, material and physical clearance.
Choosing an Alternator Lug Block
- Stud compatibility: Verify the alternator output-stud size and available clearance around the rear of the alternator.
- Cable connections: Match the block’s inputs to the gauge and number of charging cables used in the electrical system.
- Safe routing: Protect positive wiring from shorts, heat and moving components and use appropriate circuit protection for the charging layout.
An alternator block simplifies high-current connections; it does not increase alternator output by itself. Review the exact product specifications before ordering.
